Labor Day

For our Labor Day festivities this year we stayed close to home (very typical for us). After several disagreements on where we should go, the majority vote was miniature golf, and so we ended up at Trafalga. (Ashlyn was adamant that she would not like miniature golf and only wanted to go ice skating, fortunately she changed her mind once she saw the cool castle). The kids had a blast hitting the ball and didn't seem to mind if it took several shots to make it in the hole. Madisyn was our winner in that category, taking 29 shots to make it into one hole. Ryan even kept his cool for most of the game, until about hole 15 where he began to get frustrated and the club came flying through the air, fortunately missing everyone. I won't brag, but I still managed to beat Daryl even after he gave me a 9 on a hole because my ball never came out of tube and onto the green. After golf we spent a little time playing the arcade games. Here are a few pictures of our adventures.

Daryl, did you really give Amy a 9 on a minature golf hole where her ball never came out and she still won? So basically you are telling us that you can't even cheat and win? Just curious!
