I contemplated posting this event, but since LaNae was brave, I will try to not be embarrassed about it. Hopefully Daryl won't be too embaressed that I posted either. A few weeks ago (November 15th) LaNae, Lori, and I attended the New Kids on the Block Concert. Lori and I attended a whole 18 years ago when they came to the Marriott Center. We thought it might be fun to relive some of those teenage years.
We had decided to go for the cheap seats, but when we got there they let us trade in our tickets for closer seats because they hadn't sold enough. It was fun to see all of the 20 and 30 something ladies, many dressed for the occasion in their "90's clothes". We saw a few in acid washed overalls with one strap undone. (Remember that look?) Many came wearing their NKOTB t-shirts from 18 years ago. One lady sitting near us asked us to take of her picture in her t-shirt. She was so proud that it still fit after all these years.
The opening acts were Lady Gaga (we missed this one as we were in line to trade in our tickets) and Natasha Bedingfield. It was so fun to hear all of their old stuff. The crowd was really into all of that, singing along. I can't believe I still remember all of the words. They played some of there new stuff to, but we didn't really care for it. Part way though the performance we saw David Archuleta walk in. That was an added bonus. Here are some pictures of our fun outing.

That is hilarious! You go girl!! Did you stand up and do the "hangin' tough" dance? I totally would have!
Way to be brave, Amy! Sorry that I outed you.
Thanks for going with me. It really was a way fun night!
I think it is so cool that you guys got to go - too bad I couldn't have gone with you.
Ha, ha. That sounds like fun. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the concerts that I saw as a teenager again!
New Kids On the Block?!
I don't know who this lady is that went to this concert. Nope, no relationship whatsoever.
