I can't believe it's already that time again. I've been so busy keeping up with the kids that I have hardly picked up my camera in the past month. I was doing so well at my picture a day and then summer hit and it became a fail. Maybe I will start up again in August. But for now a picture share of the kids on the first day of school.
Madisyn - 9th Grade
Last year of Junior High. She had homework over the summer for her Honors English Class. She started on the books the day after we got the info in the mail, but we were still up until midnight the night before school started finishing up her papers. When we tried her locker a few weeks ago it wouldn't open. They promised to would be fixed by the first day of school. We haven't had a chance to go back and try so hopefully it was in working order since they aren't allowed to bring their backpacks to class this year.
Ashlyn - 7th Grade
First year of Junior High. She actually got to start yesterday. All 7th graders got to go for a few hours and go through the motions of going to all of their classes and opening their lockers. She had a lot of fun. Last week she had a Herbst appliance cemented into her mouth to fix her overbite. She is still practicing on eating food.
Tyler - 6th Grade
Not really thrilled about going to school, but has been excited about
finding out his schedule as they will be rotating different classes and
teachers.Has been busy playing soccer.
Ryan - 3rd Grade
Has been breaking out in fake tears every time school is mentioned. Has not been excited at all. I think he will be fine once he gets back into the swing of things. He has also been busy playing soccer.
Dylan - 2 years
He is going to miss his brothers and sisters during the day. Especially RyRy. The poor thing will probably get very little attention from the point he wakes up until 8:45, such as this morning in his saggy diaper and crusty hair and face from last nights Wendy's frosty. Once kids are gone he will get 100%. Today he enjoyed a nice hour long soak in the tub after the kids were gone with a large bucket of hotwheel cars.
