3rd Grade Hershey Track

Today was the 3rd grade Hershey Track, where all the 3rd graders from Springville and Mapleton Schools get together to compete against each other in track and field events. Ashlyn chose to run in the 50m and 100m and compete in the standing long jump. In the 50m she made it into the semi-finals, but not the finals. I waited until the end of the event (shivering in the cold) to find out how she did in the long jump. She ended up tying with 4 other girls for second place with a distance of 63". Way to go Ashlyn!
