My Grandma Andersen celebrated her 100th birthday. An open house was held in her honor and we went to celebrate along with her.

Ashlyn and Madisyn participated in the school science fair. It made for a busy week getting posters together and finishing up last minute details.
Madisyn's project was testing ice cream to see if ice cream with a higher content of fat tasted better.

Ashlyn tested jello made with pineapple and kiwi. First she used fresh fruit. Second she made jello with the same fruit, but cooked the fruit before adding it to the jello.

Tyler and Madisyn finished up basketball season. On Madisyn's last game she made an awesome swish from the side. Of course I had just put the camera away and missed her great big smile.

Over Presidents Day weekend we headed to St. George for Madiysn's soccer tournament. We left rainy weather for beautiful 60 degree weather. It was so nice for the kids to be able to run around outside in the sun and finally get some fresh air. Madisyn's team lost every game, but we still had a great time.
On the Saturday evening Madisyn's club rented out an Aquatic Center for swimming and pizza. The kids had a blast.

Sunday we went to church with Grandma and Grandpa Glazier, who had come down to watch the games, at the church of one of their friends. We then had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's trailer. After the kid got antsy cooped up in the trailer we headed to Snow Canyon. We took a short walk to a little slot canyon. We then drove over to a rock hill where the kids got all their energy out running up and down it.

Driving back to the hotel we passed the St. George temple and decided to stop into the visitor's center. The kids loved watching all of the little commercials they has on display. My favorite was when we ended up at the Christus. Ryan just sat so still watching it as an audio presentation was played. After the presentation a sister missionary came over and started talking to him. Tyler ended up sitting next to him and then I overheard Ryan ask the sister missionary if they could listen to it again because Tyler hadn't had a chance to listen to the presentation. Ryan once again, with Tyler this time, sat quietly and listened to the presentation again.

Ashlyn celebrated her 10th birthday. She invited some friends over and we made homemade individual pizzas and played games. I think it took my ears a few hours to stop ringing. After the party Daryl took Ashlyn, Tyler and Madisyn to go and watch The Lightening Thief.
The school had a Luau for Family Week. I took the 3 youngest while Madisyn stayed home to get homework done. She is just getting to old for things like that, or so she says. The kids dressed up in their best Luau outfits. Ashlyn was so busy running off with her friends I never got a picture or her.
