Tuesday a trip to Seven Peaks. We got season passes and try to go as often as we can.
Daryl went down to Zion's with a Young Women group from another ward in the stake. They repelled at Birch Hollow. He left Tuesday afternoon and was expected back Wednesday at 9 pm. With a group of 14 it took a lot longer then expected and the 6 hour estimated time ended up taking 14 hours. He finally arrived back home Thursday morning at 8 am. I was sleeping by the phone when he called at 2 am to say he was on his way. I have decided I am too dependent on cell phones now. It's hard when we can't get a hold of someone because there is no cell phone coverage. How did people survive 20 years ago?

Wednesday I took the kids to Lagoon, minus Dylan who went and spent the day with Grandpa. We met cousins there and had a blast. Ryan braved the Wild Mouse and it is now his favorite ride. I think we rode on it 3 times in a row. I didn't take the camera because I wasn't sure how to pack it around without a stroller. We did manage to ride on Bombora with a KSL reporter and camera crew. I was the lucky one who got to ride in the front with her. The kids were so excited to see themselves on TV. It finally showed up on TV weeks later. We showed up at 3:15. If you sneeze you miss us. In fact the only way to see ourselves was to pause it. The kids were disappointed it was so fast.

Thursday I think I slept all day. In the evening we headed over to the library for "Chalk Around the Block". We brought chalk and then the kids drew on the sidewalk around the library. They provided pizza, drinks and dessert. It was so windy, but we stayed for a little while. Ryan managed to show up at the beginning of the Daily Herald video.
Friday was the ward campout. We opted out of the camping part, but went for dinner and the entertainment. It was a hillbilly theme. Tyler was really gung-ho about dressing up. We couldn't find much, so he just wore some of Ryan's clothes that looked extra small on him.
Ryan and Dylan joined in the dressing up. A hillbilly band came for the entertainment. They had a dance contest. Ryan had quite the moves. He was so fast the pictures were just a blur.
Ryan and Tyler both won awards for their dancing. Tyler's Prize was a Belly Button Duster. Ryan's prize was a Belly Button Blow Dryer.

There was voting for best costume. Dylan won in the kids division. His prize was a rock.
