The picture in the kmart ad was much better because a mom was standing right next to it clapping. I was laughing so hard. I really have no issues with the safety device it just seems silly to have one around something that is one foot off the ground. There are not many 3-6 year olds that can't handle a tumble off of a couch which would be taller than this. This might be more suitable for a one or two year old. Anyway, I could just imagine Ryan's reaction if he had to jump in this. This 4 year old has no fears, except for costumes characters and roller coasters (I really need to figure out how to get that one off the camcorder and onto the computer). A few days before my mom brought this picture to my attention the kids had pushed the tramp near the fence and Ryan was jumping off the fence and onto the tramp and then going into a front flip. (We had to move the tramp as soon as possible). Then last week Ashlyn asked Daryl if he could teach her how to do a back flip. He told her in a little while. Ryan overheard the conversation and proceeded to go up and do the back flip on the tramp. I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes while I was in the kitchen. I quickly grabbed the camera to record the event.
Now I am thinking that little trampoline might not be such a bad idea for that kid!

This really doesn't surprise me at all. That little tramp would NOT hold him in. No way!
Wow...that's crazy. That boy has definitely got some skills ;)
That is impressive! We have one of the little trampolines up in our bonus room. My boys turned the sofa upside down so that they can jump off of it onto the trampoline. They have also put it partly up onto the sofa when it was right-side up. Maybe I should look into the safety net!
