Summer Vacation: Week 3

Since I am going back 2 months at this point, it's hard to remember everything. I do know that I have no pictures from this week. I think mainly it was an extremely busy week for both Daryl and I so the poor kids fended for themselves. What I do remember:

1. Tyler went to his first cub scout meeting. I can't believe I missed getting a picture of him in his cute uniform. He was up bright and early dressed and ready to go, but when it came time to go I had to walk him 3 doors down because he was too nervous to go by himself. He loved it and passed of his Bobcat in one night.

2. The month of June is busy with ball games. Amongst the 3 kids on teams: Ashlyn (softball), Tyler (baseball), and Ryan (kick ball) we had about 7 games to attend this week alone. Had we this month to do over we would have opted Ryan out of kick ball. It was too slow for Ryan's attention span and had ZERO competitiveness. He always looked so bored on the field and kept asking when he could play real soccer. We have already decided to not put him in t-ball next year since it will be much of the same. That will also help life be much less hectic. Daryl was also coaching Tyler's team. Believe it or not I managed to get zero pictures. Everytime I had the camera the battery would be dead.

3. I was asked to help put together a rag quilt for a member of the outgoing bishopric. It was busy, but also fun trying to come up with a design and then shopping for all of the fabric. The best part of this quilt was the fact that I had help with the cutting and sewing from different women in the ward.

4. We were busy trying to plan for upcoming events we were in charge of.

5. I worked on the deck when I could find a few hours here and there and when it wasn't raining, which wasn't often.
