Halloween 2009

Halloween ended up being the first warm day since Monday, so we were able to take our pumpkin carving outside. I made the mistake of waiting to get pumpkins the day before Halloween. I went to two store and they were completely sold out. Daryl offered to stop at Walmart on his way home from work and was able to find two painted pumpkins that we could carve. The following morning he was able to find two more (there wasn't much to choose from) at a local stand. The kids had fun naming their carved pumpkins.

With it being a Saturday, the kids were ready and anxious to head out early.

The nerdWe canvased the neighborhood for almost 2 1/2 hours. I think they may be eating on their candy until Thanksgiving.
