Halloween School Parade/Program

Halloween really seemed dragged out this year with the school festivities on Wednesday because of no school on Friday and SEP conferences on Thursday. I started off by going to the annual Kindergarten program. I can't believe this will be my last one. Ryan talked about it for a month and was always singing the songs he was learning. Daryl was able to get away from work for a little while and join me for the program. In years past I ended up in the back row trying to keep my eye on Ryan (and both years watching Ashlyn and Tyler I managed to lose Ryan dressed up in a Spiderman costume as he raced in and out of parents exiting the gym). This year I still had to keep my eye on Ryan, but this time he was in the program and I had no worry of him running out and losing him.

For one of the songs the kids put on the crazy glasses with big noses.
Following the program, the whole school parade took place. Since it wasn't raining they did the parade outside. In years past it has been nice and warm, but this year it felt freezing. When I got back in the van the temperature read 38 degrees.
