Playing Catch-Up

A quick review of the past month and a half.

November 24 - David Archuleta Christmas Concert
We rode TRAX up to Abravanal Hall for the concert. I think TRAX may have scarred Madisyn for life. I wish I could have captured a picture of her face after a man got on with a cardboard sign that read "I'll be honest, I just want a Beer". Her eyes were big and she sat there frozen. It scared her pretty good. I will be lucky if I ever get her on TRAX again.

The concert was great and we had a fun time. Madisyn kept busy during the intermission snapping goofy pictures.

For some reason the picture was uploaded sideways and I can't figure how to fix it.

12th row seemed fairly close there, but not quite close enough to get a decent picture.
November 25th - Ryan's Birthday
Ryan turned 6! We went bowling at BYU and then came back home for dinner and presents.

November 27th - The day after Thanksgiving
I came down with a nasty head cold and missed out on all of Black Friday deals (still ended up getting everything on my Black Friday list for the same price or cheaper in the following weeks and didn't have to spend an hour in line to check out. I will remember this for next year.) Since all I could do was lay there the kids decorated the whole house for Christmas and then took pictures of their efforts. It took my almost a week to clean up the after effects of it, but it was nice of them to try and help out.


December 15th - Madisyn's First Orchestra Concert
She plays the viola. Afterwards we headed to Dairy Queen for treats!
December 19th - Annual Grandma Rushton Golden Corral Breakfast

YUM! Ice cream for breakfast.
