New Years

New Years Eve we headed up to Grandma and Grandpa Glazier's last minute to spend the night so we wouldn't have to wake up early and drive up for the breakfast. I told Daryl not to be offended if I fell asleep at 10 pm, but I ended up actually making it to midnight. We spent the night playing games and I think the kids might have watched a movie or two along with playing with cousins. At the stroke of midnight the kids (and probably a few adults) ran through the streets with pots and pans to reign in the new year. The next morning we headed to the church for the annual Glazier New Years Breakfast. The adults sat glassy eyed while the kids ran around the gym still full of energy. We also watched this years annual Christmas video. If I new how I would upload it, but I think Daryl has to do something to the file before I can do that.

Following the breakfast the kids begged to go sledding. Madisyn was the only one that came prepared, so we had to make due with what we had. It was soooo freezing, but the kids managed to stay a bit warmer since they had to keep running up the hill.

After sledding several families went to go and see Alvin and the Chipmunks, but we opted to go home and rent a movie instead. Which I am so glad we did since Ashlyn ended up coming down with a fever before the night was over and ended up having strep. I am glad we had the opportunity to take the kids sledding since there has been no new snow since then to even sled on.

Ok, the difference in picture qualtiy is amazing. Those look great! (especially that one of madi)

PS- If you save your files as png instead of jpg the qualtiy of the picture will be better when you upload to blogger. :)
