Madisyn's Birthday

I can't believe she is 12! For her birthday she really wanted to do baptisms for the dead. So we picked her up a little early from school and headed to the Draper temple. A few of her cousins were able to join her. Daryl mentioned it was her birthday and her first time doing baptisms and the temple workers really gave her the royal treatment. She is anxious to go back. She has also started going to Young Women's , and loves going each week.

The day after her birthday she had a party with her friends. We went bowling at BYU. To make it fair, since it seems that there are always some that are better then others, for each round there was a designated way to bowl. For example: backwards, eyes closed, sitting down, etc. Madisyn, who always loses when we go as a family, ended up winning with 140 points and managed to get a spare almost every time. How you can manage to get a spare with your eyes closed is beyond me. (Disclaimer: bumpers on the lane were used).

After we came back to the house for ice cream and cake and the girls started playing games that they came up with.
