St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. - Day 3

We woke up to some absolutely beautiful views. Out on the deck early in the morning reading was so relaxing.
Our plan for the day was to head to Coki Beach which wasn't too far away, to do some snorkeling and shore diving. Somewhere along the way we missed the turn off and ended up farther down the way at the ferry dock that goes to St. John. Plans were changed and instead we hopped the ferry to head to St. Johns, which is an island that is 2/3 National Park.
On the ferry

Coming into the dock at Cruz Bay

We headed to Trunk Bay for the day. The beach was crowded, but we walked down the beach and found an area that was a little less populated. The men kept busy playing some sort of football game on the beach. It was funny to watch other men near by. They looked just like little kids watching and wanting to ask if they could play too.

The women sat on the beach, reading, talking and just admiring the crystal blue water.

Daryl also spent some time snorkeling, although he didn't see a whole lot because the water was a little choppy. For dinner we stopped by a little outdoor eating place serving grilled meat. The smell was too good to pass up, and it tasted great!
