He finally arrived on
Monday July 19th
4:43 pm
7 lbs. 11 oz.
20 inches long
He let out quite the screech after he was born
He was white as a ghost when they handed him over after the weigh in. Fortunately his color came back quickly

It didn't take long for the welcoming committee to arrive
The kids got to see his first shot. It was a bit much for Ryan.
The first bath was a lot more fun to watch.

We didn't quite have a name picked out when he was born so the nurses nicknamed him Red Head. His hair did look red at first, but once he was bathed it looked more strawberry blonde. He looks like a baldy from the front, but all of his hair is in the back.

The welcoming committee arrived bright and early at 8:30 the next morning. In fact Ashlyn (who is usually a struggle to get out of bed in the morning) was pushing Daryl out at 6 am! Although I think that one of the members of the welcome committee was more excited that I had Disney Channel on my TV then he was about holding Dylan.

The welcome committee did not fail as we came home to this sign on the driveway later that evening.
