Madisyn entered the 7th grade this year. Hard to believe she is actually in junior high. Before school started we went to the junior several times to practice opening her locker. She averaged about 1 times out of 5 of actually opening it. She turned to me and said that she was going to fail 7th grade because she wouldn't be able to open her locker and then she would be late to all of her classes. I am happy to report she has now become a pro at locker opening and instead of failing 7th grade she is getting a 4.0 (unless her grades take a dive in the next week before report cards come out). I am proud of her for working so hard and keeping up good grades even though she is so busy with soccer, starting up piano again after a 9 month hiatus and practicing the Viola for her orchestra class. I am surprised she finds time to breath. And she does it all without me nagging her. (Okay, sometimes I do need to give some strong encouragement for soccer, but it has been less and less). Her piano teacher told me she wished all of her students could have such a positive attitude about piano. It's often scary for her to try something new (junior high, starting up a new season of soccer, starting with a new piano teacher), but once she starts she gives it 100%! We love you Madisyn!

Wow!!! That picture turned out even better than school photos! You did a great job, and of course your photo subject is beautiful.....so that always helps too!
Wow, she looks so beautiful in that picture! WAY better than regular old school pictures. Great job!
P.S. I am starting to wonder if there is anything you can't do...
