Dylan (7 weeks old) was blessed over Labor Day.
I failed at getting a picture of Daryl and I with Dylan this day because Daryl was up in a tree and then ran back to the church without anyone knowing. By time he was back and I realized we still needed a picture he was already changed. Oh well.
We also found this creature roaming in our yard with all of the kids. He was probably about 3 feet long. We found a similar snake (gopher snake) in our yard a few years back, but almost twice the size as this one. They aren't very friendly either.
We took a trip to Goblin Valley and camped over night in Green River. Dylan was an angel baby and camped great. His mother on the other hand did not. Between getting a cold when we got there and then only sleeping two hours, I was not quite with it while trying to hike through Little Wild Horse Canyon. With the money Daryl spends trying to make my camping experiences pleasant, we could probably spend it at a hotel and sleep a lot better. The kids had a fun time though.Getting muddy in the Green River

We spent the late afternoon and evening at Goblin Valley. Once it got dark the kids played capture the flag the glow sticks. It was definitely the highlight.

The following morning we headed back to hike Little Wild Horse Canyon.

Ryan was too tired at the end and was getting behind. At that point I was sure I had a fever and didn't have the strength to carry a six year old and Daryl was packing Dylan, so Madisyn packed him the last half mile.
This is the sight we saw 10 minutes after driving off. It took me too long to dig out the camera and I missed snapping a picture of a Tyler with a Capri Sun straw stuck to his lips with his mouth wide open.
