Where does the time go? Life gets so busy that it is hard to find a time to just sit and write down what has happened. I will attempt to play catch-up.
Ashlyn had the 5th grade wax museum. She chose to be Christa McAuliffe.
Easter celebrations lasted for a few days. A party with cousins.
Another Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Andersen's
And finally a hunt in our own back yard. The kids loved the Walmart commercials with the camouflaged eggs, so when I went in one day and found they actually had camouflaged eggs I had to get them. They were mixed in with regular bright eggs. The camouflaged were a little tricky to find and were the last to be found. The kids got a kick out of them.
Tyler had Hershey track. He participated in the softball throw, 50m and 400m. He decided he likes short distances better.
Ashlyn also had Hershey track. She participated in the long jump, softball throw and 200m.

| Dylan was my big helper and decided to help me mop the floor. But instead of using the mop he decided his tongue would work just as well. He found the blob of red jello before I did. He loved it! |

Ashlyn had her big dance production at BYU. She spent the week before at late night dance rehearsals. I was afraid it would be too much for her, but she loved it and can't wait until next year. She also got to miss some school so they could perform it for school kids, which was an added bonus for her. The theme was Cinemagic so all the dances were based on movies. Ashlyn was in the opening number and then the Pirates of the Caribbean dance. It was definitely a favorite. She was out of costume before I could snap a picture. Luckily they did class pictures so it will have to do.
Dylan turned 10 months and he is now officially into everything.
Tyler received his Bear, along with a gold and silver arrow. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed wondering how we were going to finish before his birthday, but after sitting down with his new leaders and comparing our records we found that he had it done plus some. It was such a relief to know that it was done. I got the privilege of coloring his hair blue. He wanted me to do a heart.
Mini Society at school where the 5th and 6th grades have little stores and you can buy things with pretend money. I found Ryan wandering with the stores with a new hairdo. Ashlyn followed in Madisyn's footsteps and sold snow cones along with a friend.
Last day of school came fast, May 26th! There were many tears when I came to take his picture. Not that school was ending, but that his friends will not be in his class next year. We went to meet his new teacher for next year and then the tears were all gone.
