We kept busy this week, but I wasn't so great with the camera.
- We played with cousins on Memorial Day
- Took a trip to Seven Peaks. Madisyn stayed home with Dylan so I was able to ride with all of the kids.
- Tried making these pudding pops with a recipe from OurBestBites.com. They were delicious, but we had a hard time getting them out of the mold. I melted them trying to get them out with hot water. Even before freezing them the kids were dipping Oreos in the leftover pudding mix. They couldn't stop eating them.
- Daryl went Canyoneering near Goblin Valley. He had a fun time and can't wait to go again in a few weeks.
- We walked to the park to play tennis. After tennis we went over to the pond and the kids had fun catching water skeeters. Just when we were getting ready to leave Ryan leaned a little to close to the edge and fell in. He was completely soaked. That was when I really wished I had my camera.
- Saturday we split up. Daryl took Ashlyn, Tyler and Ryan up to the canyon to do some repelling. They had a great time. They didn't dare do the larger cliff. Maybe next time. Madisyn, Dylan and I headed to BYU to get a book and CD signed by David Archuleta. He said Dylan was a cute baby. We couldn't agree more. We then finished off our trip at the BYU bowling alley. It's the first time in a long long time that we haven't bowled with bumpers. Madisyn was a bit nervous, but she ended up with a 92. She has a mean spin on the ball.
