My new best friend...

A few weeks ago at the library I found a new device called a playaway. They are little audio books that are light and able to fit in your pocket. Just add headphones and a battery and you can take it with you everywhere. I have already listened to Tangerine by Edward Bloor (one of our Young Adult books for book club next month) and now I am listening to Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen

With school starting and Ryan starting preschool next week things are getting a lot quieter around the house. It's fun to listen to these books while I do my everyday cleaning and laundry. It's fun to be able to accomplish two things at once. After looking at the list of playaways at the library I am excited to check out a bunch more. Areas around the house that never thought they would be cleaned might get my attention after all!
