Happy Halloween!

Another eventful Halloween has now come and gone. Yesterday we started by carving our pumpkins. Katelyn and Nathan Bingham joined us for the festivities. The kids drew their own faces on the pumpkins and then began cutting. I was a little nervous with 6 kids and knives, but they were very careful and meticulous with their carving. Ryan tried to cut the nose, but then I took over and finished for him. It was perfect weather to do it all outside.

They also had a great time just playing in the leaves.

Halloween day itself was very busy due to the fact that I was trying to plan a party for Madisyn's class. Fifth grade is a bit harder to plan for then for younger grades. I think it turned out fine, and I feel much relieved. Ryan was a good sport through the whole thing and watched. Before the party started we got to watch the annual Halloween parade. We have been lucky to have great weather every year since we have lived here and have enjoyed watching the parade outside.

After school the kids anxiously awaited the trick-or-treating and pizza with the Binghams. I managed to get them to cooperate for pictures. I think this is a first.

After the pizza the fun began

Happy Halloween, Glaziers!

Madisyn looks awesome. It barely even looks like her.
