We started out the day by driving up to a park by Grandma and Grandpa Glazier's to have a picnic. Fortunately the pavilion had a nice breeze running through it so it wasn't too hot. The kids had fun playing on the playground and Daryl took the boys on a small hike. We hung out the rest of teh afternoon in a nice air conditioned house. No one wanted to go the the Sandy City parade because of the heat, but when we got there it had cooled down quite a bit. The kids had a blast collecting all the candy thrown to the them. The Real SL Lion(?) even stopped and had all the kids come up to him so they could get a picture with him. I guess he couldn't resist the load of kids all dressed for the festivities. (Although when I checked my pictures there was a kid who joined our group and I have no clue who he is. He is the one not dressed in festive attire). After waiting several hours after the parade, we were finally able to enjoy the fireworks. For some reason though some of the kids were more interested in climbing the trees. Madisyn commented the next day on how much fun she had. I am glad she had fun and wasn't disappointed that we didn't attend Stadium of Fire with Miley Cyrus.

Oooooh! How cute! I have some good ones of your kids on our blog. There's some other good ones I haven't posted that I need to get you (this is Tyson).
This is really Jill. I love all the pics. Your family picture is awesome. Wish we would have done one. Oh well. That is funny about the random kid by the lion. Good thing for photoshop!
I LOVE the tie-dye. Great job!
